Liam Fitzgerald was welcomed into the world on an extremely hot day in the middle of August. His mother Nancy had gotten pregnant on an accidental one night fling. Having a baby on her own had never been her plan in life, but it was the hand she was dealt. From the early stages of Liam's life it was obvious he was slightly different than most babies. He learned how to walk, talk, and interact with his surroundings much earlier than most. An IQ test proved his mind to be exceptional, gifted.
Because of his gifts there were things that Liam did that tended to annoy other children he was forced to play with. Mainly, he took everything apart. That new toy car, a playful talking game. He would figure out a way to take it apart, pulled on pieces, slam it on a rock until it broke. It wasn't just that he would break them, but he'd put them back together in new ways that either made them better or more interesting. His mother, while encouraging, didn't know what to do to keep him interested so she did the next best thing. She gave him technology to play with.
Liam grew up, mostly bored with the typical curriculum of school. He blasted his way through grade after grade until he got to high school and they felt they could no longer challenge the young man, even the advanced classes were easy for him to accomplish. He was bored. He had been born and raised in Boston, MA, but decided that hig attack to college had to be different. He ended up going to Columbia where they offered him a full ride in their electrical engineering program. He was too young to be in college, but he knew he had to stay busy.
While in college Liam started to grow into himself. He found people he could talk to on his intellectual level, well at least near him. But then he found a love for the outdoors, electricity was all around him in nature and he ate it up. He found hobbies in rock climbing, kayaking, camping, but also in weapons like guns, shooting, skeet shooting.
Liam was pretty well behaved in school, but in his senior year he decided to tinker around with his love of technology and weaponry and invented a gun that in theory was incredible and should have been effective, but for some reason he couldn't get it to work. It was no matter though because as soon as he graduated he was offered at job at Bergman Industries. They wanted more of his ideas.
Since then Liam has been challenged and excited every day. Happy to be able to be home in Boston, doing something he loves while able to contribute his skills and get paid for it.
